Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ouarzazate

After breakfast you’ll start your Dayney towards southern Ouarzazate through the high Atlas mountains, you’ll see many beautiful villages on the side of the road until you get to the highest point of 2060 a few miles from there you’ll change the direction towards Glaouia Kasabah you’ll stop for its visit and continue Ounila valley is the perfect place to get an insight about fossils and fauna, it”s a unique landscapes of green and red contrasts with vibrant colors. Continue along the way to join the one of the best preserved Kasbahs of Morocco, it’s the historical ( 11th century ) Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou a place where many famous movies were filmed like Babel, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven … the ends in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Kelaa M’gouna – Dades valley & gorges

Continue through Skoura you’ll take a short off the beathen track that crosses the beautiful oases of Skoura to see an other worth-seeing Kasbah called Amredyle, set off via Kelaa M’gouna it’s a spot where roses festival takes a palce every may of each year, from here you’ll have the chance to travel through the off the beathen track again to see the nomads of the Atlas mountains and how do they servive, their style of life which is totally diferent from what you are used to. Just right when the off road finished and the asphalt began you’ll see Ait Youl Kasbah and the green valley of Dades.

Day 3: Dades Gorges – Todra gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast you’ll drive to the desert via the impressive Todra Gorges or the so called the Grand Canyons of Morocco, you will have short walk between the canyons, before heading towards Tinjdad and Erfoud where you stop fossils fabrication. Travel on Off road to Erg Chebbi dunes, from here you will start the camel ride foran overnight in the middle of the dunes.

Day 4: Merzouga – Khamlia – Taouz – Ouzina – Ramlia – Mharch

You will stop in Khamlia village to enjoy listening to live Gnaoua music which is played by the locals , continue on rarely frequented off-road, and in a seldom-visited sector you will experience landscapes very different from those that you may know. You’ll discover the true Sahara and its thousands of Acacia tress, you will approach the Algerian border (rock drawing). Night in an accommodation in the middle of nowhere.

Day 5: M’harch – Zagora

La piste de Tafilalet, avec les gravures rupestres Anou N’Ouamerzemlal sous les grandes falaises de Jbel Tiouzzaline et les grandes plaines africaine aux acacias.

Day 6: Zagora – Tamgroute – Mhamid – Erg Chegaga dunes

After breakfast you’ll visit the Zaouia, Koranic library and you also see the worshop of pottery makers and later drive Off-road to Erg Chegaga desert to enjoy the sunsets and spend the night in nomad tents.

Day 7: Erg Chegaga dunes – Foum Zguid– Taznakht – Ouarzazate

You will wake early to see the sunrise have breakfast and drive via Fum Zguid we stop to see the nomads living in the tents continue through the dry lake of Iriqui , Fum Zguit village and Taznakht the capital of Ouaouzguite rag. Arrive Ouarzazate by 17 :00.

Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait ben Haddou – Marrakech

Before heading back to Marrakech you will visit the Taourirt Kasbah and after 30 minute drive you’ll visit also one of the best preserved Kasbahs of Morocco, it’s the historical ( 11th century ) Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou a place where many famous movies were filmed like Babel, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven … Arrive Marrakech and the end of the trip.
